Education BackgroundHe was admitted to the Indiana Bar in 1972. Subsequently he was also admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Court of Appeals, Seventh Circuit, the United States Court of Claims in Washington, D.C. and the U.S. District Court of the Southern District of Indiana. David graduated from Indiana University-Bloomington (A.B. American History, 1969). He graduated from Indiana University Maurer School of Law in Bloomington in 1972. Professional PracticeDavid began practicing in Hancock County, Indiana in November 1972 and served as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in 1972-1973. After serving that position David has devoted his practice to representing clients in trials, civil and criminal in the Central Indiana area. He is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association, the U.S. Court of Claims Bar Association and American Bar Associations. Community InvolvementHe also served as a Trustee of the Greenfield-Central School Corporation from 1994-2002 and the Hancock County Public Library from 1994-2006. Military ServiceDavid served in the United States Army Reserve from 1972 through 2001, retiring as a Colonel. When he retired, he was the Chief of Logistics, G-4, for the 21st Theatre Army Support Command, headquartered in Kaiserslautern, Germany.
